My number one requested tutorial has been a bathroom makeover. It has been a challenge to me living in an apartment because of the small space and bad lighting. I could not figure out how to shoot a successful video until now. The last couple of months I hired a videographer Lindsey Penn to help me with shooting the tutorials, so I am finally able to bring your biggest request to life!

For this design, my Inspiration piece was this green vase from Target. I loved it the minute I saw it. For this design I wanted it to have a more natural feel with a touch of glam. Succulents are still a popular decor item this year and Target has a great selection of faux succulents I decided to use the faux aloe vera and this string of pearls succulent. The items brought in the natural element I wanted to showcase in this design.

Up next was the glam! Right now anything gold has my heart, and when I saw this gold tray, I knew it would be the perfect base for this vignette. I loved the size and scaled it fits nicely in the space. I then paired it with the gold soap dispenser and gold vase. By adding these three gold elements it created a visually pleasing look. Many times I have been asked if its ok to mix metals. Absolutely mix away as you can see in this photo I added the gold decor pieces even though the handles and faucet in the bathroom are brushed nickel.

The bathroom counter is long, and I didn’t want to overwhelm the counter with too many items. So for this corner, I added a simple gold vase and white pillar candleholder and candles, keeping it easy and elegant.

Let’s talk about how to decorate over your toilet lol! For this space, I chose this frame Abstract Watercolor Wall Canvas from Target. I wanted to pull in all the color and bring the gold up onto the wall. This picture was perfect in helping me tie in the space.
Now that I have told you how to decorate this space, let me show you!
