Ginger jars so so popular right now on Instagram and I wanted to show you a couple of fun ways to style them using summer floral stems. In my previous post, I showed you how I styled the smaller version of the arrangement. Today we will go into more detail about how to make these easy DIY arrangements.
I was one of the lucky ones who found a couple of white ginger jars at Home Goods a couple of months ago. What I love about this size jar is the height of it. It stands 18 in tall, and I knew it would be perfect for a dramatic floral arrangement. This size arrangement would fit nicely on an entry table, console or how it is displayed in on a plant stand in my master bedroom.

I had so much fun perusing through the floral department at Hobby Lobby last month. I only used three types of floral stems for the large arrangement. The first one is berry branches. I knew that they would give me the volume I needed for this arrangement. Next up I added these beautiful Dogwood Stems. I liked how they opened up and filled in the gaps in the arrangement. I only needed 3 of these to achieve this look. Lastly, I added 4 Dahlias. These were my most expensive flower stem, but wow they added the drama this arrangement needed. That is it! in total I spent under 50.00 on all the florals. An arrangement like this could cost upwards to 300.00. Below are a couple of ways I used this floral arrangement in my new master bedroom makeover. Master bedroom blog post and tutorial are coming next week!

Now let’s talk about my smaller floral arrangement!

This arrangement is super easy. I once again used the Dogwood stems, five total and then added in a couple of white floral stem I picked up last year. Here is a link to similar stems they are an inexpensive floral spray from Micheals. I think they would make a great alternative.
