It finally happened!! It has taken 7 months for me to finally start remodeling the kitchen. I couldn’t be happier with how phase one turned out!! Let’s take a minute to see where we started. It wasn’t horrible in fact I have received lots of compliments on the kitchen. But I really want a neutral space that I can decorate and style differently from month to month. This kitchen just didn’t allow for that. When we originally purchased the home 3 years ago I painted the cabinets 2 tones and added some brass knobs. Once I knew that this was going to be a rental that’s when I decided not to spend the money on the countertops, backsplash, and appliances. But now that this is home remodeling the kitchen was a must!
Let’s get started on the deals. I knew I had to keep this on budget and I hunted for deals online!

The new sink and faucet are from Amazon! But I didn’t pay full price! The trick is once you find an item on Amazon you scroll down and click the used/new button and see what they have to offer. Many times the items are new but have damaged boxes! That’s how I got these so cheap!
Let’s start with my sink! Here is the link! The regular price is 192.23 but I only paid 149.49! The only difference was when it arrived the box was beaten up! But the sink was in perfect condition! We did change out the Flange for a black one. For the Flange The link is here!

We did the same thing for the faucet. I went to the new/ button clicked it and picked one that said the item was fine but the box has damage. The regular price for the faucet is 79.99 I purchased it for only 61.54! Faucet link here! Every dollar counts when your remodeling!

Let’s talk countertops! I knew I wanted quartz but after going to a couple of different stores I quickly knew we would have to double my budget. That is why the kitchen was put on hold! But luckily one of my best friends found a company that used prefabricated quartz and wow did it save us a ton of money! The total we paid for quartz countertops, counter and backsplash installation including the demo of the old kitchen was 4,636! I told you it was a deal! Our guy here in AZ is Rudy his phone number is 623-688-7958.

And lastly the backsplash! I knew I wanted it to be white and classic. I found just what I needed at Floor and Decor and the price WOW! I choose porcelain because the marble was triple the price for the same look! We only spent 180.31 in total for the backsplash! Here is the backsplash link! Because the Quartz has some gray veining I wanted to pull that out in the grout color. I picked this one from Home Depot! It did take 2 boxes to grout the backsplash. We do have a little bit left for touch-ups if needed. Each box costs 11.44 for a total of 22.88 for the grout!
Steve and I are so happy and thrilled with how the kitchen turned out! The next phase will be repainting the cabinets and adding new brass drawer pulls.
Here are a few things to consider, make a budget, get multiple quotes, and if they say it will take 2 days of work double that! Issues come up people get sick so be patient! But if your ready to take on this type of remodel overall it was easy and so worth it!!
