Fall is a magical time I am excited to share some Fall Home decor Trends of 2021

First up lets shop for fall 2021
This year I fell in love with some of Target’s Fall home decor pieces. Bringing in the natural elements is on Trend this year, and I have to say. Target was my favorite store to shop in for convenience, and some fun fall finds.
In my latest Youtube video, I am sharing some Fall home decor trends that they have. You can watch it here.

Styling your home for Fall
This year was all about bringing natural elements into your home. Some of my favorites were Natural woven elements like baskets, pumpkins, and Pampas grass. These trends not only translate to your indoor space but also outside. I am sharing how I styled my patio with an oversized basket, one of the cute woven pumpkins from Target, also one of the slate vases I picked up, and of course, Pampas grass.
Pampas grass has been around for a few years now, but this fun trend passes through different decor styles. My home tends to be on the glam side, but I have had a lot of fun bringing in these whispy natural stems inside and outside this Fall.

Colors of Fall
My second favorite Trend is bringing lighter tones into your home, playing off the neutral tones in the stores and online. Beigh and creams are very popular this Fall. So I moved out my green sofa and brought in softer tan chairs to create a formal, informal living room. I wanted this space also to be a conversation area, and by switching out some older furniture, adding in a new rug, and swapping out my white curtains for these faux linen curtains, I feel like I achieved my goal. You can do this by adding in lighter colored pillows, throw blankets, natural baskets, and of course, more Pampas grass, natural or Faux. They both achieve a whispy whimsical look.

Less is more this Fall
This year’s Fall trend less is more is for sure on display all over social media. This year My dining room also received a facelift. I swapped out my dark black velvet chairs for these lighter ones I could pick up on clearance. Remember, you can always check out the open box sections on Wayfair, Amazon, and Overstock for deals. I picked these chairs up for 100.00 a pair. Unfortunately, they are out of stock, but I check back regularly for two more to complete my set. I wanted a simple tablescape this year, and this gorgeous bubble vase and Marble Tray set the tone. Next, I added simple glass pumpkins I purchased last year, and it was complete. Lastly, I added some fun black pumpkins, a black ginger jar on my console with some faux blush florals to tie in the blushy tan tones throughout the space.

Repurpose and Reuse for Fall
I am a big believer in repurposing and reusing items you already have as long as you can. This stone DIY pumpkin was a glitter pumpkin I have had for years. So, keeping in the natural elements and tones, I decided to give these pumpkins a makeover. If it didn’t work out for them, I figured I could style something else in their place. Luckily they worked out, and I am thrilled with how they look. I was looking for other items to spray paint all through the house, lol! Check out my Youtube video below for this easy and inexpensive DIY.
